Snowbirds dazzle Comox–perspective from the air

Every year, the Comox Valley area of Vancouver Island is treated to a spectacular demonstration by our Canadian Snowbirds, similar to the Blue Angels in the US. This video gives a way-cool perspective that spectators never see. And, our pretty Comox Valley is in the background. Enjoy!! https://www.youtube.com/embed/tTnTEvKC-sE

One of North America’s prettiest drives…right here!

The journey from Two Eagles to Westmin Mine or Gold River (2 hours) takes you on one of the prettiest drives we’ve ever been on. I call this my “decompression” drive, since the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Check out our Facebook page for photos, including a stop at Myra Falls where the “swimming hole” was […]

We live in paradise!

Just spent a couple days on the north end of our island where the low-hanging clouds sit mid-way down the mountains and give that true “Pacific Northwest” mood. The Rec sites for camping are amazing on this island.

3rd Annual Two Eagles Lodge Tie Dye Party

On the heels of hosting the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce annual BBQ for 75 on June 21, we had our own shin-dig. We had a great time this weekend with more than 100 people here for fun, food, music, and tie-dying (of course).   It’s fun to see people wear their works of art from […]

Gotta love that backroads map!

Steve and I recently got a jeep to explore some of the island’s back roads, and what an amazing experience. We have seen some amazing vistas–perched high above the Georgia Strait and Baynes Sound in the Beaufort Mountains. The photos just don’t do it justice. I don’t have a moment of regret about selling the […]

Awards again! YIPEE!

We just got word that we are the recipients of another TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2012, based on guest comments and ratings. This is on the heels of being awarded two of nine awards at the May 3 Comox Valley Home-Based Business Association’s award ceremony–a merit award and an environmental award. We thank everyone […]

Great Music & New Friends

As sponsors of the Vancouver Island Music Business Conference, we are privileged to meet some incredible musicians. And, by hosting some of them at Two Eagles Lodge, we get to enjoy more than their music. Just this weekend, we had great meals and fire-side chats (complete with some super guitar playing) from Ralph Murphy, Dan […]

Two Eagles Lodge Wins Again…and we’re so proud!

It was unbelievable. On Thursday, we were surprised at the Comox Valley Home-Based Business Association’s awards gala by receiving the “2011 Comox Valley Ambassadors of the Year” award; and on Friday, we went to Victoria for another awards event. At the Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award gala, we were the recipients of the […]

Pied Pears Made Me Laugh So Hard!

Thanks to Music Fest Megan, we got to hear Pied Pear. What a performance! Not being familiar with many Canadian performers, it was a blank slate for us going in. We were blown away. Their music and facial expressions made me smile so much, my cheeks ached; the sing-alongs were a blast; and their grins […]

Two Eagles is a finalist

Just a quick note to mention how excited we are to be a finalist for the 2011 Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards. We’re also nominated again for another Torch Award, so fingers are crossed! Viagrx
