Signs of Spring Can Take Your Breath Away

Another beautiful moment at Two Eagles…As if it’s not enough to be awakened by eagles singing, the whinny of my girls in the field (wishing I wasn’t working so I could play) and then to hummingbirds “swarming” in their pre-dusk frenzy…the geese just add another beautiful dimension.
life is good. I hope all of my friends have such beautiful moments in their days! Life is good!!!

Pied Pears Made Me Laugh So Hard!

Rick Scott & Joe Mock--reunion tour...guests at Two Eagles Lodge

Thanks to Music Fest Megan, we got to hear Pied Pear. What a performance! Not being familiar with many Canadian performers, it was a blank slate for us going in. We were blown away. Their music and facial expressions made me smile so much, my cheeks ached; the sing-alongs were a blast; and their grins were absolutely contagious. Glad Two Eagles Lodge could be a sponsor–thanks Megan!

Vancouver Island talent is amazing

The talent in the Comox Valley is amazing. Even on a Thursday evening, we had to choose among four or five venues with professional singer-songwriters… Many of the area’s finest also got together on Friday for an all-day concert to benefit of the Japan Relief efforts with more than $9000 going to the Canadian Red Cross from our little Valley. I’m glad we could once again be part of the silent auctions that do so much good for causes near and far.

A finalist again… :)

Just got word yesterday that Two Eagles Lodge is a finalist (one of five from the entire island) for the 2011 Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau Torch Award for business ethics and customer service. That award surely would look nice next to last year’s Torch award and the 2011 Business Excellence award. Cross your fingers and toes…and send those vibes, please! Better yet, just come visit!
