We won!

Two Eagles Lodge is the proud recipient of the 2010 Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau “Torch Award” (hospitality industry).   We were one of five finalists and proudly brought the beautiful crystal award back to Union Bay.  Steve and I are so proud.   There was even a very nice article about us in today’s Comox Valley Echo.    The award is especially meaningful since we are just celebrating our third anniversary in business, and there are so many hospitality businesses on the Island–quite the honor, for sure.

Finalist for Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau Award! Yipee!

We just learned last week that we are one of five finalists for the Torch Award–an award given to businesses on Vancouver Island in salute of their commitment to ethical business practices and community.     There were 138 island businesses nominated for 12 award categories, with 52 finalists.  We’ll know next Friday, May 14, if we are the winner in the hospitality category, but the honor of the nomination is a privilege.    Thanks to our guests and business friends who may have nominated us!
